this is what summer is for.

Yesterday night was spent ice blocking all the way! Fun stuff. Seriously, I could NOT feel my arse 10 minutes into it. It was begging for mercy. Ice blocking should definitely be made into an official Olympic sport. Such a workout! Going 80 miles/hr down the steep hill is sure fun, but carrying the 5 pound block of ice back up is a pain. Before long, the backside is soaked and numb and I could barely feel my baby tush. Well, then the walk back wasn't all that unexciting either. Of course, it was almost pass teenage curfew time and cops were starting to randomly pull up. But that definitely did NOT stop us from singing along to Journey. :)

This morning I went to a pool party in Broomfield. It was mucho fun. There really isn't much to say about a pool party. It's self explanatory.

Sam Sim, the sister, went off to London to visit Joanna today. At precisely this moment, she's probably sandwiched between two fat ol' guys on the plane. Hahahahaha. The thought of it makes me laugh. She'll be gone for 10 days, which means I pretty much get full access to her closet for that amount :)

sun burn

Went to the lake and got sunburned today. For the first time. I don't know if I like bright red looking thighs. But, 3 hours at the lake swimming and tanning was definitely summer fun. Shu was already as dark as she could get so everyone was jealous. Rachel definitely got two or three shades darker than her usual self. Jennie on the other hand, was red lobster all over. Yes, ALL OVER. Oh and about 2 hours into tanning, this one awkward, creepy guy swam to our dock area and asked if he could "share" some space. Funny thing is, the other float was obviously empty. Hmmm...don't blame him. He looks like he doesn't own a wife and who wouldn't want to hang out with a bunch of girls basically wearing nothing? Yea, I totally understand. Also...he had ugly toenails. Gross...Then the rest of the evening was spent dish washing. Gross I know.

guess who got her driver's license? And haircut?

Yes. I got my driver's license. Finally. After many years of waiting, I passed it the first time. The instructor was incredibly weird though. And evil. I mean TWO TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS? Come on. I'm not that bad of a driver. As a matter of fact, I'm wicked hell as good! But I passed :-) We'll never see her again. Anyway, the rest of my day consisted of driving from place to place to pick up+drop off job applications. I need a job...sadly. Like many other teeners, I happen to enjoy spending $ and it's time I stop being broke. Then...*dramatic pause* I got a haircut. I was like "Hey, I'd like some bangs".

"OKAY! *snip snap snip*.

It looked fine when I stepped out of the salon but the air coming out of the A/C damaged it and now I can't seem to make it fly the way I want it to! Aaaaahhh annoyance. What to do what to do. I guess I should just bobby pin it to the side I want it to stay and hope it stays that way. Or I could always pin it back. Or I could also wait for it to grow out longer. Whatever.

what's crackalakin.

so i'm getting my license in 2 days. *silent scream continuously*

But besides that, I am finally going to set foot in Elitches tomorrow. It's been a little longer than a year now and I can't wait.

I noticed that I constantly revive this blog approximately every 3 months or so. It dies and rises from the death...on and on.

So father's day was yesterday. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY FATHA. He's prolly having a good time in heaven. We went to Boulder's the kitchen for brunch. Not only was the food great, the servers consisted ONLY of hot men ranging from 20-25 years of age and none shorter than 5'11. Sleek and gentlemenly, I almost died when one offered me a drink on the house. *more silent shrieks* Then we left to Flatirons for some shopping. And I thought things couldn't get any better until I saw this giant sign displayed outside of Victoria's Secret. "SEMI-ANNUAL SALE".
Yeah you guessed it, I went crazy. I got everything that would usually add up to $100 in under TEN BUCKS.

Then we proceeded to my aunt & uncle's house for a father's day barbecue. Steak, delish. That was basically it for yesterday. Today happens to be far worse than yesterday. Worse in the manner that I went back to getting up at noon and did nothing since then. Hmmmmmm...

summer.

sick and uptight. I might actually love my life for once. Summer has officially begun. Actually, it kind of did a month ago. Since then, I've only been eating, sleeping, and having pointless adventures with friends of Longmont. We've been frantically trying to complete CAS hours while catching up/having fun at the same time. Last night was the cancer relay for life. Best time of my life. Well...I wouldn't say "of my life" but it was rather close. We talked and walked all night. At precisely 3am or so, a shooting star flew right by. Aaaahh it still seems fake.

Anyway, I've had this sudden miss for my friends in KL this past week. They're now busy people trying to complete the last 6 months of high school. Hopefully it ain't that bad...i'm praying for yall, don't worry. It feels like ages since I've kept up with what's going on with their lives...but that's what facebookey is for!
