Three weeks.

So yesterday was a Day 2. Which means I had Bob Bote. Ew. Ok so I was clearly

crippled but he still made me speed walk. Hello. What the hell? Whatever. I got over

it. During PE, Bri decided that she wanted to give me a piggy back ride down to the

softball field. She claimed that she was "in shape". Ok well, bad idea. She managed

to lift me 3/4 of the way and then her finger
s were like dying on her. Then on the way

back form the softball field, Ellie decided that she was gonna give it a try to give me a

piggy back ride. Alright then. Yeah well Ellie didn't even last half the way. Her hands

gave up on her after like 10 ginormous steps. Anyway, here are some "moments" we

shared in PE yesterday.

malaysia come already!

Malaysia come already!

It seems like it's taking longer that it needs to take. Summer is only 18 more school

days away and it's like taking longer than the 9 months that we've already had school.

How ridiculous. There are like a LIST of things I can't wait for:

1) Finals to end

2) The essay I need to finish tonight to be over

3) The other essay I need to finish by Friday to be over

4) Vocab test next week to be over

5) My ankle to heal

6) Seeing my loves in Malaysia!

7) Spending like 30 hours at the mall with Karin

8) Having Haagen Daaz fondue+banana split with Karin and Aly

9) Unlimited shopping at Topshop and Guess

10) Knock-off shopping in KL!

11) FOOD!

12) Indoor archery at Sunway Pyramid.

13) Late night satays!

14) Shorts and tanks and more tanks

15) MY GRANDPARENTS, UNCLE, AND BABY COUSIN!

whoooooo

I had sushi last night!

Well, so Kenneth came over at 5 yesterday and we went to Twin Peaks to

check out the lovely artworks. Babe won an award...damn! But I had three

of my artworks up, so that's good. After a long time of looking at

artworks, we headed back to my house for sushi! It was on a boat...how

amazing. Well then Kenneth felt the need to litter my lawn so he dumped

grapes, ginger, and some wasabi all over! Just wait until my mom finds

out...she's gonna flip. Then we took a detour and ended up at some

random place in Lafayette but somehow made our way back to Longmont

an hour later. We made a stop at Baskin Robbins for a banana split. It's

like my new favorite place and I'll tell you why:

1) It's like the brightest place in town

2) Everything is pink or purple(Even the bathrooms)

3) There happens to be an amazingly comfy couch in there

4) It's ICE CREAM!

Well we shared a banana split in the back of his SMV...with the music

blasting...not noticing that it was playing REALLY loud. I mean REALLY.

Then we headed back to my house. There was still like an hour before my

mom comes home, so he hung around in my room...and fell in love with

my stuffed lamb. Can't blame him, my stuffed lamb is uber soft, and

smells like nothing but me. And ofcourse, there were pictures...and they're

on facebook. Yeap, that is pretty much everything that happened

yesterday. Today however, is "I need to study for the Odyssey test" day.

And finish up last minute homework...even though I don't really see the

point of doing homework since there's only 20 more days of school.

I'm off for the season.

Alright. I'm officially off the tennis season(even though there's only one more day). I

have to wear
this freakin huge knee-length brace of my left leg and man, I walk like a

mutilated donkey. And I
can no longer go running anymore :( Well at least until it fully

recovers. According to the doctor,
"it'll take a very long time to completely heal". AAH!

Screw him! I WILL heal by tomorrow. Just
see. Tomorrow was originally supposed to

be filled with excitement...tennis
tournament...pictures...AE. But this temporarily

paralyzed left ankle of mine made it all
impossible. So I'm pretty much staying home

the whole morning and hanging out in the evening.
I'm gonna go to check out my

artworks at Twin Peaks! What excitement. I'm so glad school is
almost out. Only 20

more school days and that's including finals. Summer's only one step ahead.
You can

do it Melissa!

...

Warning: Rant post ahead.

I wish I knew the reasons of *** sudden change in behavior. But I don't. It like happened overnight and well, I guess that's what you proudly call life. Tell me how you would feel if one day, someone treats you oh-so extremely sweet, and the following day, the someone is pretty much secondhandly ignoring you!? And the saddest part is, this someone cannot pass as totally "ignoring" you because he/she isn't. This someone is merely cutting conversations super short that it becomes like a "Hi" and "Bye" thing. Which then makes you feel like an idiot for feeling the way you're feeling because you can't confront this someone about ignoring you, because this someone is making so goddamn sure that he/she isn't completely ignoring you...you then proceed on to feel like nothing but a game of monopoly.

ouuuuch.

I injured myself. Again. First, I sprain my right wrist. And then I sprained my right ankle. And then hurt my right shin. And now I BADLY sprained or did something to my left ankle. Ouch. I'm so accident prone. I don't even know if I can play in the tennis tournament this Saturday. It would suck so bad if I can't make it! Tennis season ends this Saturday :(

Well, right now, I have an essay I need to get started on...that's due tomorrow. And a test I need to study for...that's also tomorrow. What a remarkable day

the jerkface.

So school didn't start until 11:45 today. Silly me knew that but at 9, I leaped out of bed

because I thought school starts at 10:40. So yeah, I had breakfast/lunch, took a shower, did

my hair, my face, put on my clothes, got ready, and then I called my mom. Sure enough, it

was like 10:15 and she was like MELISSA! SCHOOL DOESN'T START UNTIL ABOUT

AN HOUR AND A HALF!
Yup. How stupid. Then I had 90 minutes to finish up last minute

homework while watching tv. Then we went off to pick Ellie up and off we went to school.

Classes were only 35 minutes long so they flew by. In Bio, Miss Elzbieta Towlen decided

that she was gonna surprise us all with one of her daily quizzes over the freakin human

body system. Hello!!! Failing for sure! I bet she wants us all to fail her class at the end of

the year or she wouldn't overwhelm us with random quizzes like this. It's like we're not

already dying cause of all the homework we get!

Anyway, I can't wait for this week to be over. Everything will
HOPEFULLY be smoother

the last couple of weeks. Wait no,
FINALS! Bloooooody Hellll! Tomorrow, I have an outline

due in History. Then on Friday, I have to stay after school to redo a bio quiz. Then on

Friday night, I have to work. Then on bright and early Saturday morning, I have to be at the

tennis tournament from 8am-5pm. Great. Then after that, I MIGHT be hanging out with

Kenneth. Depends on my level of tired-ness. Then on Sunday, we're supposed to have this

random meet up at Flatirons the entire day. UGH!

hello sunshine.

Some stuff has been going on in school lately. Things with Alejandro, Ellie, Jenn, and Mickey aren't going too hot. And I happen to be the middle person. What excitement. Whatever. Anyway, tomorrow is PICTURE DAY for tennis and it's a late start.

Today, I went to school just to pretty much received a bomb, MATH TEST! Yeah well it wasn't too bad. Not as difficult as I thought it would be. History was boring as usual...Tucker was rambling on and on and the importance of the Renaissance and the Middle Ages and what not. Ellie and I were giving her nasty looks(again). Then, we had PE after that. Bote was absent and we had this clueless, most easy going sub ever. Ellie, Bri, Morgan and I were like clearly fooling around and when she questioned us, we simply told her that we were "warmup-ing". She believed us. We were supposed to play softball but we kinda snuck off to the soccer field to tan under the blazing hot/cancer causing sunlight. And like 30 minutes before class was over, we just left. Then my last class of the day is a FREE BLOCK. Aiding for the counseling office is probably the best substitute for any class. Then before I know it, it was time for tennis practice. Me, Allison, Jenn, Rachel Hillen, and Rachel Echsner wore smokin hot tank tops to get tank top tans. Surely enough, they all got sun burnt and I was pretty much the only one who got darker by the end of practice.

I went to piano lessons after that. I didn't practice. I was sight reading but she couldn't tell. It's all good. But I really should get practicing. The Guild is coming up in May 31st and I still HAVEN'T gotten all my notes right...let alone the techniques!

tired.

Today is what I'd like to call uber-tired day. It's a Friday at least. I didn't have to work. And whatever plans I had was cancelled due to the disgusting hail+snow+rain mixture. I haven't played tennis pretty much the whole of this week. Hopefully the weather improves next week.

So. Yesterday night, I found out that half of my ENTIRE summer plan was pretty much poof! I'm bummed out but you know what? Whatever. I'm still alive. I'd make the best out of whatever I have left.

I am very occupied over the course of the next couple of weekends. Today, I was supposed to go volunteer at Flagstaff Academy with Megan but the stupid rain cause it all to be canceled. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to have a tennis tournament from like 10-5. But big gasp, it's canceled. And then tomorrow night, I'm not sure if I'm going to the Seussical with Alejandro. Then next week, I have a Math test and an English rough draft essay due! Jesus! And then next Saturday I'm supposed to be out for an AE at night(which I am looking forward to). I think I'm gonna go to the new Baskin Robbins. Aah, ice cream lives for people like me. And then after that, we prepare for finals with only 15 days of school left. Bam! before you know it, summer break is here. But I can't really feel the vibe yet...I mean look out the window! What do you see? gray sky...snow...rain...hail...white backyard...dead grass. Does it look very summer-y to you? I didn't think so.

motherrrr effff

Today was spent with little or no progressive-ness. I woke up and put on my FAVORITE pair of shorts and tees...had my hair done all beautiful and when I walked outside, BAM! It was raining. F. Then I had to hurry back upstairs and put on sweats and a sweater and the stupid rain made my hair look all greasy and gross, so up in a ponytail it went. Grr.

Shaw decided that a good portion of our class didn't do our homework(EVEN THOUGH I DID), so she surprised us with what we call, "Shaw's dreaded pop-shits." Yes, a freakin pop quiz over the freakin Odyssey. Do I look very happy?----> :[ :[ :[ And then off we went for a field trip to Solar Yoga. I find it hilarious how we have PE field trips. This was how my conversation with Ms. Shopland went:
Mel: Hey, I have to leave at 9:45 for a field trip
Shopland: Oh, for what class?
Mel: Life Fitness with Jennings.
Shopland: To where?
Mel: Solar Yoga.
Shopland: For what?
Mel:Uhh...to do yoga? what else?

From then on, the day was just cruising by. After we got back from yoga, I had the rest of the day class-free. And we didn't have tennis either cause of the hail+rain mixture.

Speaking in third person:
Melissa, why did you HAVE to procrastinate on the notecards on Julius Caesar for History ?! You knew it was assigned 3 weeks ago and it's due tomorrow. Yet, you allowed all the distractions to distract you from even starting on it. Great job kid. Just stay up ALL NIGHT LONG writing notecard after notecard.

I am super neat-o

So it has ONLY been one freaking day since babe left and already, I am home bored with nothing to do. Which is why I am bombarding her umpteen number of texts an hour to ruin her trip. So I pretty much just found out that I'm gonna have the BEST summer ever in Malaysia in just about 64 days. Filled with knock off shopping sprees, food, go-sees, and MORE food... this is gonna be a blast I tell you. It's like my mind is not even here anymore. Well it's still "here" but not "here"...you know what I mean? Ya'll must think I'm crazy. But in fact I'M NOT! I haven't visited in two years...which means two years stranded in Longmont, the town that is so small, it isn't even labelled on the map!

I have just discovered the magic of endorphins.

Melissa, isn't having the best day of her life. Ralstone Valley tennis team totally creamed my ass today! I played number 1 singles and number 3 doubles. Lost both of it but whatever, it's still good practice. We're supposed to have another match on Monday but I guess I'm not playing in it for some reason. Finally, a day off!

Babe's leaving town today for her school trip to Washington D.C. It reminds me that it has been a whole year since I went. Sucks for her that she's forced to hang out with "the rival" haha. Anyway, well she's gone for a week, which means I'm home alone for a week. Yay and Nay. Yay because I'm home alone. Nay because I'm not going to have someone to rant to. I rant everyday! Oh well, suck it up Melissa.

Tomorrow is already a Sunday. Time passes quick. Before you know it, it's finals, and then summer, and then sophomore year. Wow. I still need to do homework tomorrow. Can you believe it? I spent my entire day today slacking around, not doing anything and leaving everything until last minute, which is tomorrow. What a procrastinator...yup, that's me.

Friday, April 10, 2009 ‚ô•

I've been so tired and exhausted and busy these past weeks. Trying to bring my grades up before summer comes along...juggling about 3 tennis matches a week...tennis practices...homework etc. I'm getting really sick and tired of school and guess what? I'm ONLY in my freshman year. It could only get worse from here. So today I woke up 10 minutes later than I usually did. Which meant 10 minutes less of doing my hair and makeup. It was a rush but I managed to get it done. Whatever, it's a Friday.

Shaw was super neat today!

Shaw: Women need to Blow!
Class: *laughs for 10 minutes straight*
Shaw: Who doesn't like man food?
Class: *laughs for another 5 minutes*
Shaw: People need to suck it down!
Class: It's getting priceless...

Yup! That's my English teacher. Hilarious as usual. That was probably the highlight of my day.
I got robbed yesterday!
I'm about to kill someone. Do they not understand the concept of NOT LOOKING THROUGH SOMEONE ELSE'S STUFF WITHOUT PERMISSION, NOT TO MENTION TAKING IT! So poof! there goes 150 bucks. I feel like they stripped off the one thing I enjoy doing, shopping. Get a life. Anyway, tennis was tiring. I stayed after to practice with Varsity so I didn't leave until like 5. Kenneth was supposed to give me a ride but then he ditched the parking lot so I got someone else to take me home. We were supposed to hit it off at Flatirons since I'm not working today but I guess not. So I'm home, stuck, eating, blogging, mourning over the death of my shopping privileges.
